About

Jacqueline Javier (or Jacky with a y) is an illustrator based around Northern Virginia and Washington DC. She is a 2016 winter grad from the Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Communication Arts. She is trained to aid clients in translating their ideas into vivid illustrations and designs. She is currently employed at Cambium Learning based in Washington DC, creating illustrations and formatting testing materials for students across The States. Her work ranges from illustrating simple graphics for children to identify to creating intricate scenes to pair with stories, to editing those graphics into the paper tests for teachers and students to mark up.

Aside from creating art that addresses client’s needs, she enjoys portraiture and conceptual art. You’ll find her sketching scenes from movies she’s last seen, or characters she admires. From there, she has amassed a knowledge of perspective, technical abilities and a laundry list of movies to recommend. Her instagram is an immediate reflection of that.

Friendly and relatable, she is one to consider for playful and problem-solving art and design.
